How to get paid for recording recitals
You must complete a W4 tax form to get paid by LVC. See Mrs. Safstrom for a copy.
For each event you are the chief engineer, the studio manager will verify completion of master CDs and will submit this info to the MRT director, who will submit requests for payment. Do not turn in a time sheet–you won’t get paid. A master list of engineers and payment due is compiled at the end of each semester or academic year; payment is not made on a monthly basis.
You will be paid a flat fee per service as follows:
$35 Basic student recitals and small ensembles
$55 Mastered student recitals and large ensembles
